A CHIPINGE boy was attacked and killed by two crocodiles at the confluence of Save and Dakate rivers last week.
Moses Musikiri (11) from Machiya village under Chief Musikavanhu was herding cattle with his two friends when he was attacked.
Chipinge rural district ward 22 councilor Evely Mhuru told Post on Sunday that the boy was swimming back from collecting his cattle which had crossed Dakate River to graze on the banks of Save River.

“When the first crocodile grabbed him one of his friends picked a log and rushed to his rescue but before he could reach him another crocodile joined in the attacked and he disappeared in a pool of blood, Mhuru said.
The two boys then screamed for help and villagers who were within earshot rushed in.
His body was recovered half a kilometre from the point where he had been attacked with a missing arm.
Mhuru said they immediately alerted Zimparks who later came and killed one of the killer crocodiles.
