Rev Preston Majoni’s New Book Receives High Praise at Launch

MUTARE – Reverend Preston Majoni’s latest book, Rediscover Your Purpose of Existence, was launched on Saturday, 20 September, at St Mary’s United Methodist Church in Dangamvura, drawing praise from panelists and attendees who described it as a timely and inspiring work for Christians seeking guidance in their faith.

The launch, attended by church members, community leaders, and book enthusiasts, featured a panel discussion with four panelists who addressed the book’s themes of purpose, resilience, and faith.

Panelist James Ndanga said the book provides practical guidance for living intentionally in alignment with God’s plan. “This book encourages Christians to dream beyond their circumstances,” he said. “It reminds us of the enduring power of faith and vision in shaping a fulfilled, God-centered life. Reverend Majoni doesn’t just inspire; he equips us to act.”

Ndanga elaborated on the book’s focus on purpose and resilience. “Purpose is knowing why God created you and living that truth every day,” he said. “It is about understanding your divine assignment and walking in it faithfully. Without purpose, we drift; with it, we shine.”

On resilience, he added, “It is the strength to rise after every fall, to trust God while navigating life’s trials. It is faith in motion, empowering Christians to maintain hope, persevere, and positively impact those around them.”

He also shared a personal reflection, saying the book addressed challenges many Christians face. “I was particularly moved by how it addresses the inner struggles we often hide, doubts, fears, and moments of fatigue in pursuing a dream. It felt like a conversation with a mentor, guiding me patiently to rediscover my path in God’s plan.”

Ndanga commended Reverend Majoni for presenting complex spiritual truths in a practical and relatable manner. “What sets this book apart is its practical approach to self-discovery. It doesn’t just inspire; it provides tangible steps for individuals to identify their purpose and act on it,” he said.

He highlighted the book’s relevance for Christians at all stages of life. “Whether you are a young believer navigating early faith, a leader guiding others, or someone seeking clarity, this book meets you where you are. It challenges us to confront distractions, focus on what truly matters, and commit wholeheartedly to living a life that reflects God’s calling,” Ndanga added.

The panelist urged attendees to internalize the book’s lessons and apply them in their daily lives. “Let us dream bigger, serve with integrity, and pursue our God-given purpose relentlessly. This book is more than reading material — it is a spiritual compass,” he said.
