Masvingo Province receives Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) machine for COVID-19 tests, stationed at the Provincial hospital, Post On Sunday reports.
Rodgers Irimayi, from the ministry of information, confirmed this development and said the Department of health is working on training some staff at the hospital.
“I can confirm, yes we have reeievd the PCR machine as a Province and it will be used at Masvingo Provincial hospital”
“The machine requires skilled man power who will be able to use it and the department of Health has so far considered training of staff that will operate the machine” said Irimayi.
Masvingo is the fourth province to have high COVID-19 Cases in Zimbabwe.
