Harare- The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) has today launched a platform for whistle blowers who raise a red flag on corrupt activities in the country.
ZACC Chair person, Justice Loice Matanda Moyo said the innovation of creating this platform will help during this Covid-19 period in avoiding human to human conduct.
‘it is also in times like today where the Covid-19 pandemic is ravaging communities that such an innovation assist the commission in executing its mandate within minimum human physical contact”
“I therefore cannot over emphasis the main significance of this platform and encourage the members of the public to use this tip-off application which is accessible online” Moyo said.
Zimbabwe recently has had an echoed call in fighting corruption with various stakeholders, journalists and political activists wanting to demonstrate against corrupt activities within various institutions, the ministry of health, energy, Agriculture and mines being on top of the list.
