In what many are calling the game of the season John Nyikadzino’s construction pack Sheasham Fc will be going against derby nemesis TelOne who are under the watchful eyes of former Ngezi Platinum and Shabanie Mine gaffer Tendai Chikuni in a Central region clash slated for the home of Gweru football Ascot stadium.
Sheasham are current log leaders with 34 points while TelOne are occupying second position with 29 points.
In a tough and fitting first leg encounter played at Gweru Sports Club the Gweru giants shared spoils in a nill all final scoreline.
The game resembled a fair share of opportunities from both parks.Eyes will be fixed on young Liberty Masveure for Sheasham who was proving to be on a free scoring spree in the first scooping Steak n’ Chips award for top goal scorer in February.
On the other side of the arena Blessing Sahondo, Tafadzwa Sibanda and Blessed Sibanda will be looking to cause upsets.
Sahondo is on nine goals so far this season sandwiched by Tafadzwa Sibanda who is also nearing ten goals.
An attempt to contact head coaches from both camps proved fruitless as they were unreachable until time of print.
Though much tension is oozing in the build up Sheasham is the only pack in the league to taste defeat Meanwhile TelOne recorded their only defeat at the hands of Vumbachikwe in March at Vumbachikwe stadium in Gwanda. TelOne are hopeful of utilizing home advantage as they look to close a five point gap between them and construction boys.
Meanwhile MSU takes on Kwekwe United at Mkoba stadium. Chapungu will be facing against Tongogara a clash of the army sides. Genesis furnished side Dulibadzimu goes against Fc Platinum Under 19.
