Harare-based and upcoming gospel musician Benny Hadassah Muzanamombe is set to release his fifth album titled Muparidzi Mutema on the 1st of April in the capital.
In an interview with Post On Sunday, Muzanamombe said the album envelops 6 tracks. On one of the f the tracks titled Makamira Muropa he featured Pastor Blessing Shumba.
“This album seeks to look for more souls for the kingdom of God,” Muzanamombe told the Post On Sunday.
“My source of inspiration has always been the word of God. I relate my day to day life to the word of God and I encourage people to be earnest in serving the Lord Jesus Christ and also remind the christendom about the drawing near of the last day,”he revealed.
The gospel singer said he recorded his first project in 2017 and now has recorded four albums and seven singles.
He emphasized that after April he will start working on some collaborations, but he was not at liberty to disclose the artists he will be working with.
Apart from being a musician, Benny is a graphic designer and he is also running a small business.
Muzanamombe said he did social commentary on the song titled Mhandara DzaMwari which is on the new album to be launched.
The album launch will take place at Christ Unveiling Church corner Chinhoyi and Kwame Nkrumah in Harare CBD on the 1st of April 2023 and audience will fork out $7 US when paying in advance, $10US at the gate and $3US for the children.
