NetOne Cellular (Private) Limited has vehemently dismissed social media report that it has run out of mobile sim cards, saying there’re available on the market
The wireless mobile giant Chief Executive Officer, Raphael Mushanawani, yesterday said NetOne SIM cards are readily available throughout their distribution channels and customers can purchase new SIM cards or replace them at any of their channels including NetOne Shops, Zimpost outlets and authorised dealers.
He added that the NetOne SIM card official price is US$1 or ZWL equivalent at the interbank rate and noted with concern the outcry by its valued customers of dubious agents who are selling Sim Cards as high as US$4.
“SIM cards are available within NetOne’s respective distribution channels at an affordable price and there is no shortage of NetOne products and services, including SIM cards, airtime, devices and other notable services which are conveniently accessible”, said Mushanawani.
NetOne has further cautioned its customers to use official NetOne distribution channels, these include all NetOne Shops, selected ZimPost offices and Authorised dealers.
NetOne has encouraged its customers to report any overpricing of SIM cards or related products that they come across on the following number and platforms; customer care 123 and 121, WhatsApp number 0712980198/0716956393/0716956301/0716956329 including social media platforms, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tiktok.
“The company disassociates itself with such agents and condemns such practices. The mission of NetOne is to leave a lasting impact, bring customers together, build enduring bonds, and foster trust”, he ended
