Mabvuku United who are in rich form in this years Harare province soccer league division 2B campaign are looking forward to an amazing season as they eye for division one promotion in the prestigious Ruyamuro Northern Region soccer league.
The lads in blue and red are at the helm of a 20 starred league with an impressive 25 points from 11 outings.
Mabvuku United, owned by Takawira Jongoni a seasoned football director is looking forward to defending its top spot from stiff competitions emanating from second placed Morelove, third placed Inno Cosmas, fourth placed Simbisa and fifth placed side Irvine Academy.
While talking to this publication Mabvuku United Team Manager said the boys are not faced off by a lumping draw last week against Harmony Fc citing that the top goal is to take it one game at a time and be part of Ruyamuro Nothern region soccer league come 2024.
“Our team is currently doing well dispite the weekend draw against Harmony FC, we are going to regain as a team and focus with our upcoming games. We still have many games to go and we are now going into our 13th game of season. All games are 38 so they is a long way to go as Mabvuku United FC. We are going to fight for the title till the end, we believe in God and l know God’s plans is always the best.”
The rich vein of form from the Tonderai Chitowa coached side has been manifested by talent export to various fancied teams across Zimbabwe.
On the 22nd of May a quad squad putting Isheanesu Mhundwa, Tatenda Chiyangwa, Taffy Chisamba, and Takudzwa Chimhowa were exported to Black Mambas (D1), Herentals (D1),Tohito, Mutare City Rovers (D1) respectively.
Masunda appreciated the shot in the arm by Team President Takawira Jongoni and team coach, a feat that has seen young talent from Harare sprout.
“I also want to thank the owner of Mabvuku United, Mr Takawira Jongoni for all his support, he is one of the best directors in the football industry and he has done a lot for most footballers. May God bless him for the good work he is doing, may God give him strength day by day. l also want to thank our technical staff, players and supporters for all the efforts they are putting towards this project,thank you. I also salute Mabvuku community for showing us love each and every game we play at Mabvuku our stadium will be full. Personally l also want to thank our head coach Tonderai Chitowa for an excellent work he is doing.”
Week 13 round of fixtures will see Mabvuku United playing 15th placed side Sprouting Fc, a game that see Mabvuku based outfit seek to extend its much need gap.
It will be a nail biting top 5 clash as Inno Cosmas takes on Morelove.
Meanwhile MBCA Fc are lingering deep inthe relegation zone with 4 points after 6 outings.
