Bulawayo, Zimbabwe – In a bid to unlock the vast tourism potential of Chimanimani Hot Springs, the Rural District Council is inviting investors to partner in developing the scenic resort.

At the just ended Sanganai Hlanganani World Tourism Expo in Bulawayo, Chimanimani Rural District Council CEO, Nehemia Dewure, showcased the Hot Springs as a flagship project, touting its unique features and immense potential.

“Hot Springs is one of our biggest attractions,” Dewure enthused. “We invite interested parties to partner with us to upgrade the resort and tap into its international market potential.”

Located 80km from Mutare along the Masvingo-Mutare Highway, Chimanimani Hot Springs boasts an impressive natural profile, with water temperatures reaching a scorching 100 degrees Celsius and possessing 15 chemicals with healing properties. Its strategic positioning beside a busy highway makes it an ideal destination for tourists.

This natural wonder has long been a local favorite, but Dewure envisions a world-class destination that showcases Zimbabwe’s natural beauty. “We need investors to renovate the resort and help us market it globally,” he emphasized. “The returns are guaranteed, given its attraction to tourists.”

With Zimbabwe’s tourism industry on the rise, Chimanimani Hot Springs presents a lucrative opportunity for investors. The council is eager to collaborate with partners to upgrade facilities to international standards, develop tourism infrastructure, and showcase the resort’s unique features globally.

By partnering with investors, the council aims to create a premier tourism destination, generating revenue and jobs for the local community. As Zimbabwe’s tourism landscape continues to evolve, Chimanimani Hot Springs is poised to become a shining example of sustainable tourism development.

The invitation to investors comes at an opportune time, as Zimbabwe seeks to revive its tourism sector. With its natural beauty, rich culture, and warm hospitality, Chimanimani Hot Springs is set to become a flagship destination, putting Zimbabwe firmly on the global tourism map.
