4 Perished in Kariba Accident

4 people were feared dead this afternoon in Kariba few km away from the airport on a head-on collision involving a BMW and a  Mercedes Benz.

National Police Spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyati confirmed the accident.

This being the third accident with the vehicle catching fire, three people were trapped inside and they died. few weeks ago, a Honda fit was involved in an accident and fire broke out along Harare Mutare High, in Nyazura.

Popular socialite, Ginimbi’s car was burnt beyond recognition and three bodies including that of Maoona were retrieved after the accident after they were trapped inside.

Kariba municipality quickly responded and they managed to put out the fire, the drive of the BMW who was driving to Harare, died on the spot while three seriously injured passengers were rushed to Kariba hopsital  for medical attention.
