Plastic Moulder, Rising Gospel Star

The world of gospel music is seeing a huge growth since more and more youthful artistes are trading in the genre in this decade. Of such talent is Law Tatenda Makusha.

Born 33 years ago in Zengeza, Chitungwiza, Law Tatenda Makusha grew up in Chihota communal lands. He is known by his sta

ge name Evangelist Makusha.

Speaking to Post on Sunday from his base in Chitungwiza, Makusha revealed that his vision is the make an impact in gospel music circles.

“I named my band Impact for Christ since it has been my vision to make a bang in gospel circles by spreading more good news about Christ. I sing gospel in sungura genre and I use Shona and English languages.

“I am not a full time musician since I work at Kannah Health Care doing plastic moulding. I started music long time back but I started recording in 2017. I play lead guitar, bass guitar, mbira and keyboard/

“I have recorded 25 songs to date of which Mufudzi wakanaka became the hit song followed by other two, Makomborero and Huyai tinamate. I thank my producer Mr Lucky Kaparautsi from Joy of life studios.

“To my fan I would like to tell them that I am currently working on another album to be released in 3 months time. I want to say let’s all work together as one so that we preach together and please support us as Impact for Christ we love your support,” said Makusha.

The singer who has some music videos for selected songs appreciate torch bearers such as Pastor Charamba and Mechanic Manyeruke say he would like people to pray for our country Zimbabweans so that it stays free of challenges like Covid-19.
