Police in the Midlands Town of Shurugwi have started a man hunt on Emmanuel Bwerinofa who terrorised residents early this year.
ZRP Spokesperson in the province, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko confirmed and said members of the police force in Midlands have intensified the search and all efforts are being put forward to avoid another loss.
“The Hunt is still on and intensified for the search of a 23 year old man, Emmanuel Bwerinofa who is wanted for 5 cases of robbery and murder which occured in Shurugwi in 2001.” Mahoko said.
“In May 2001 the suspect again robbed Pacific Gold Mine, in Shurugwi then killed his partner, Tapiwa Gumbugwa Murimwa of Nyarupakwe area, under chief Njelele with a shovel” added Mahoko.
Police are calling for assistance in locating the suspect who is believed to be on the run. anyone with information can report to the nearest police station or contact Criminal Investigation Department, Gweru station.
