Harare-Out spoken religious leader of the Goodness and Mercy Ministries, Tapiwa Freddy was yesterday arrested for raping state broadcaster employee Rutendo Makuti.
Freddy is expected to appear in court this morning to answer on the alleged case.
The drama started last week when the media heard that the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation employee had been arrested on charges of Extortion against the cleric pastor.
It is alleged that the prophet raped a 33 year old Harare woman on several occasions after he invited her to his work place.
A Report was made against Freddy for raping the womam several times at her house when her husband was on his death bed.
In another case the court heard that Rutendo makuti was given a Mercedes Benz worth USD $15000 after she threatened to expose their relationship with the prophet.
She and her brother later asked for another USD $20 000 which made Freedy to make a report against the two for Extortion and the car was recovered.
This publication could not get a comment from both parties to understand if they had a relationship or any contract of some nature.
