A coach with Chimanimani based Rusitu Tigers which plays in the ZIFA Eastern Region Division 1 Soccer League has sensationally claimed that there is a lot of drama happening in the eastern region.
Coach Gift Hanyana made the claim after his side was beaten 3-2 by Bikita Minerals in a game that was played at Bikita Stadium on 2 July this year. The Lithium Boys, as Bikita Minerals is affectionately known, came into lead after being awarded a penalty.
Commenting after the match, Rusitu’s Hanyana said, “The game was good but it was a tough match for us. Our guys were playing very well but we conceded a penalty which is dubious or not, the referee known better.
“The game was going well but I am doubting something. Maybe it is now a drama in this [Eastern] region. I cannot mention the drama now,” he said.
The soccer fraternity shall be happy when, one day, the coach opens up on his drama riddle.
