The stage was set for the most thrilling season of T10 cricket yet. The fastest and most entertaining format of the game was about to captivate fans worldwide, with a blockbuster season of matches and contests that promised to be bigger and better than ever.

It all began in Harare, where the Zim Afro T10 Season 2 was set to kick off from September 21 to 29. The player draft, scheduled for September 8, was eagerly anticipated, as six franchises had already signed their icon and global superstars. The likes of David Warner, Carlos Brathwaite, David Willey, and Dawid Malan were among the big names that had been roped in, sending excitement levels soaring.

As the season progressed, the star power only intensified. Colin Munro and Mark Chapman from New Zealand, Sharjeel Khan and Yasir Shah from Pakistan, and Chris Lynn from Australia joined the fray, making this a truly global affair. And with Blessing Mazurabani from Zimbabwe joining the New York Strikers Lagos side, the local flavor was well represented.

But this season was about more than just the players. It was about the format, which had captured the hearts of fans worldwide with its fast-paced and thrilling nature. The T10 format was set to traverse across Asia, North America, and Africa, with the US Masters League, Abu Dhabi T10, and the inaugural Lanka T10 concluding the season in December.

Sri Lanka, set to become the second ICC Full Member nation to embrace the T10 format, was abuzz with excitement. The Lanka T10 was poised to become a key event on the Sri Lankan cricket calendar, showcasing the fastest and most thrilling format of the game.

Nawab Shaji Ul Mulk, T Ten Global Sports Founder and Chairman, couldn’t contain his excitement. “We’re gearing up for an exciting season, and this one is extra special for many reasons.
