Chivhu Woman Beheads’ Her 4 Children In Cold Blood

A Highview Chivhu Surbub, woman has beheaded her four children and set her home on fire on Wednesday, and surrendered to the police.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police said the unnamed woman was in police custody.

Emelda Marizani 29, is said to have had marital dispute with her husband, Lameck Brande 43, which has led to the gruesome murder of their four kids aged 9,5,3 and a one year old.

After killing her children she attempted to commit suicide by drinking poison.

“Police are currently attending to a report that a woman beheaded her four children and set the house on fire in Highview suburb in Chivhu”.

Police spokesman Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the horror and said police are still conducting their investigations.

“She took a rope and tied the two elder children before slitting open their throats with a  knife, the suspect went on to kill the other two children with a knife before setting the house on fire” Nyati said.

Chivhu town is located 145 kms from Harare on the highway south to Masvingo in Mashonaland East province.
