ZIMBABWE Assemblies of God Africa (ZAOGA) is this weekend celebrating its 61st anniversary, having been founded on May 12 1960.
The leader and founder of the religious sect, Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti started his ministry in Bindura and it has been the fastest growing pentecostal church in Zimbabwe and arguably in the world.
ZAOGA FIFMI, which is recognised as Forward in Faith Ministries International (FIF Int) beyond the Zimbabwean boarder and ADA in Mozambique, was founded by God through his servant, Professor Guti a now 98 year old man who celebrates his birthday in the same week with the church’s, having been born on May 5 1923.

ZAOGA FIFMI is one of the oldest single led pentecostal movements in Zimbabwe which has spread across the world and now resident in over 130 states and nations.
FIFMI anniversary celebrations will be different this year in regard to the curfew regulations imposed to curb the spread of Covid-19 as they will be gathering in few numbers, however, in past celebrations they would gather and walk across their towns and cities in celebration of such an achievement
