Joe Mugabe’s Body Now In The Country

The body of the late former Caps United captain Joe ‘Kode’ Mugabe has arrived in the country early morning and to be buried tomorrow at Glen Forest.

Kode died of cancer on the 8th of this month in the United Kingdom where he was staying.

Family and friends gathered at the Robert Mugabe International Airport to receive the body of the late Caps United legend.

Family members who spoke to this publication said they have suffered a huge blow after the loss, “Kode was a family pillar who was admired by many because of good works”

Former team mates added their voices and said he was a captain they all learnt to play football together.

“Joe was something special, a different leader, one who would listen to those under him and knew what to do for the team to progress captain.”

Mugabe’s body was taken to a local funeral parlor where it will lie in state ahead of burial on at Glen Forest Cemetery tomorrow morning.

The legend survived by his wife and three children.

Mourners are gathered at 22 Chizhanje Avenue in Mabvuku, Harare.
